Silouette &Eurothread...Non-Surgical Thread Lift
The Thread lift is a non-surgical facelift procedure which tightens, smooths and contours the face and neck through the strategic placement of dissolvable Threads which are inserted beneath the skin. Youthful-looking firmness and suppleness is restored to areas where volume loss and sagging has occurred, while simultaneously stimulating the body’s natural production of collagen and elastin in the targeted treatment areas. The procedure can be performed in-office, giving you immediate results that improve with time, and it requires minimal downtime.
How Does The thread Lift Procedure Work?
Threads are dissolvable threads that are placed under the skin to achieve lifting of the cheeks, the jowls and the neck bands. These threads are comprised of polydioxanone (PDO), the same material that has being used for surgical procedures for 30 years. The threads are inserted, and when the needle is withdrawn, the thread remains under the skin.
Threads stimulate the formation of collagen, which gives the skin elasticity and diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This improves the skin’s quality and texture over time, while also lifting and adding volume to areas that have laxity. The suture material gradually breaks down over a period of 6-8 months; however, the results typically continue to last for up to a year and a half.
What Is The Recovery Like?
This varies among individuals, but the Thread Lift generally requires little to no downtime. Swelling, soreness, and minor bruising is common following the procedure.
What Are Areas Can Be Treated?
Threads have demonstrated benefits in all areas of the face and neck. The most dramatic improvement typically is achieved in the lower third of the face and neck by lifting sagging cheeks and jowls to create smoother, more youthful looking contours. EuroThreads can be used to improve the following areas:
-Fine lines and Wrinkles
-Loose or saggy neck area
-Peri-Oral Lines (Smoker lines)
-A saggy Jawline and jowls
-Neck lines, sometimes called “necklace lines”
-Vermillion Border or Lip
-Knees and Hands
How Long Does The Procedure Take?
The duration of the Thread Lift varies, depending on the areas to be treated. The procedure can take as little as 15 minutes, while more complex procedures may take up to an hour or longer.
